I get asked this question many times, why do you like cars with tinted windows?
Well, there are many reasons why window tint is one of my favorite modifications to do to my car. I will list the top 5 reasons to tinting car windows on your next ride.
1. It just looks sweet.
2. Compared to many other things like chrome rims, huge lifted trucks with mud tires, engine upgrades, etc., window tinting is very cheap as it only costs a few hundred bucks.
3. It really does help your eyes. Having blue eyes makes me very sensitive to light so this really helps in the morning and evening. Be sure to get the windshield tinted at the top.
4. It makes a ordinary car look much better.
5. Why not?
Tinting car windows does not take much time either. You normally get your car back within a few hours or so and then have to let the tint film set up on the glass for 3 – 5 days. Do not be impatient as rolling the windows down will cause the edges to peel and that is not good at all. Then your whole tint job can go bad from just not waiting a few more days. Do not be lazy.
Most car or truck windows are easy to do, but the rear window with defroster lines can be a real pain so many people not like to try that themselves. You can also try to be real different with different colors of tint. I just saw a Camaro with red tinted windows the other day on a red background. Looked awesome.
You can be the judge and most times it is a preference on what color or colors you like, but do not be afraid to try and be careful before you make your final decision, so you do not waste extra money by doing it again later.
