Many people think they want to tint windows for a living and start to look for a good window tinting school to help them learn. Well, around here we do not have schools for that so most of the pros around here learn how to do it by following someone that has lots of experience with various kinds of tints and tint jobs.

Often times it takes hard work, patience and dedication to learn this skillful art by using the proper tools and techniques without messing up a persons cool ride.

Most of the jobs I have seen last many years if they are done right. There is nothing worse than seeing purple tint on a dark black car because of cheap film being used or bad chemicals used in applying the films to the windows.  Watch someone do the job right and learn from them each time they do it.

The biggest thing to getting it right will be practice though. No one can just watch and them become an expert. It takes time to learn the tools of window tinting and it takes time to be able to apply what you learn to actually doing the job in person.

I  recommend learning by doing and trying to do it yourself first on an old car or beater that no one really cares about. That way if you mess up no one will be that mad and want to beat you for destroying their favorite car or truck.  A person’s ride is often their favorite thing and messing it up is not the way to do good business.
