Window Tint Kits

Most window tint kits contain the basic materials that you need to do the job yourself. Some come with the tint rolls and some are just the materials you need such as razors, adhesive, templates, tips, and other information. It really varies on the kit and you should do a bunch of research before you decide on a good window tint kit for your truck or automobile.

Most times you will find a quality product, but it is best to be safe rather than sorry.  I like to find kits with multiple blades as it is vital to have a sharp blade to cut the tint and not tear it. This is a mistake that many people make when trying to do it yourself. They think the film cuts easily, but they do not think a dull knife will tear it as easily as it really does.

If you choose to have someone else do your auto window tinting, then window tint kits are not a concern. Their price will include all the supplies, materials, and labor necessary to do a quality job. Just be sure you are getting a fair price or go to a shop who will.

The last time I got my windows tinted I paid to have it done by some quality pros. It did cost more, but in the dead of winter I was not going to deal with the hassle of trying to do it.  It was well worth the time and money spent on having someone do it that knew what they were doing.

I recommend thinking about your choice long and hard before committing to one. It is a big decision that cost some good money.

You will really notice the difference 5 years or so down the road when poor quality tint jobs can be seen from a mile away. Yours will still look good and will help you sell your car if you ever need to.
