Well, to tell you the truth, I am not a fan of red window tint. I think it just looks to bold on most cars and really draws negative attention. The only exception may be a red car with matching red tint, but it would have to be done right. I have never seen it on a street car, only on show cars and in magazines.
I think it would be a cop magnet too and would probably get you a few tickets in your days of driving a car with red film on the windows. Do not get me wrong, I have seen some quality show cars with different colored tint on them, but normally I am not a huge fan. Just my opinion and I have seen many cars and trucks tinted in my day.
Whether you love or hate it, most people that have one car with dark windows will often have many more tinted in their lifetime. It is kind of addicting and many times people love to get all their cars done. My only advice is get used to driving with lower visibilty because it is harder to see out of at night no matter what anyone says. Do not cause an accident just to look cool.
I have mentioned blue tints before and think they are less harsh and maybe better suited for the everyday car. To each his own though. Those multi-color films that fade from gray to black can also look really cool if done right. You can also blend them with graphics on the car to really make them stand out.
Other times I think just plain old black looks the best and that is what most people would be best trying at first. You can always use computer programs to guess what it will look like, but you never really know until it is on the car.
