Well, like the title implies this can be a very easy task, but it is very hard to do it right. So I am going to give a little 10 step program on how to tint windows for your car, truck, or any other kind of automobile. The key is to be patients and not rush around and expect a cheap looking job to look good.

Here it goes:

1. Be sure to get a good nights rest and have a good meal in your belly before you even get your car ready for tinting. You would be surprised how much better you work when you have rest and are not hungry or thirsty.

2. Have all your supplies ready to go the night before. You do not want to have half of your truck tinted and then need to drive to the store to get something your forgot. A real pain and can really set you back in the time frame you have to complete the tint job.

3. Get a helper to help hold the tint film to the window and be an extra set of eyes when you are cutting the back glass. You better have really sharp blades to cut the film and have a stead hand too. Those defroster lines are thin.

4. Use a template and get the window size right. Do not guess and try to eyeball it. Wont work.

5. Take breaks often to keep your mind fresh and your patience long. No one wants crappy auto tint on their car.

6. Allow time for the tints to set up and allow a full 3 days before you roll your windows down. Yes 3 days.

7. Get tint darker than you think. Once you have it down people always wish they go darker and also get a strip by the mirror too, people always forget about that.

8. Again. Take your time.

9. Do not forget the details and keep switching razor blades to prevent tearing of the film. It does tear if you have a dull blade.

10. Finally appreciate the hard work and hope you do not get any tickets for being too dark.
