Most of us love the summer time. No school, less work, and more play, but if your house is always 100 degrees I bet you are not a fan of the summer at all. Professionals should due this, since it is kinda hard and I would not want to try it myself. The will put films on your interior windows and in turn these will reflect more light out, and keep the cooler air in. It may not be cheap, but be sure to get a few quotes before you let the contractor go to work. Most home tint jobs can be done in a day or two at the most, so keep an eye on things to make sure it is progressing nicely.
Like my other posts, you kinda get what you pay for. A cheap tint job will show in just a short time, so unless you are very handy I would not try this myself. If you are, be sure to order quality residential films that are really meant for homes. Do not get a generic brand for cars.
In the long run this will save you money as the heating bills in the winter will go down too as the heat will be kept in. Many people forget about that nice perk and only think they will benefit from savings in the summer. Hopefully you have the spare cash to go ahead and get this done before the year is over. If you do it in the winter you can get a good discount since it is offseason.
