With all the people talking about how cool window tint looks, I am sure you are thinking about getting your automobile in a shop and having the windows tinted. Well, this is a great plan but you should do some thorough research before you just drop off your cool ride with anybody.
The first step is talking to your friends that have a good looking tint job on them. Do not even bother going to a place if you can see errors or bubbles in the tint. Once you find a good looking tint job check and see when he had it done. If it was just last week then it will look good no matter what, so move on until you find an older job that would show some signs of wear.
If you find one that is a few years old and still holding up, get the number for that window tinting service and give them a call. Chances are they do a good job and they may be backed up for a few weeks. Figure on leaving your car there for a good 5 hours or so and do not rush them. You want them to do it right don’t you?
Most times they will let you know when they will be done with your car or truck, but just stop back later and do not harass them as they might hurry up and mess something up. Nothing is worse than tinted windows with bubbles or peeling on the edge. I have seen many bad films with bubbles or mistakes in their and it does not look good. You cannot just repair a portion of a window and you have to do the whole thing over again.
So take you time and call around and deal with a shop you are happy with, you will benefit in the long run.
